[jira] [Commented] (FALCON-86) Hive table integration with cluster
entity
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-86?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13749536#comment-13749536 ]
Srikanth Sundarrajan commented on FALCON-86:
--------------------------------------------
isEnabled in CatalogServiceFactory is looking for a different property key. Exception can be misleading.
{code}
+ if (!isEnabled()) {
+ throw new FalconException("Hive integration is not enabled in falcon: hive.enabled=false");
+ }
{code}
REGISTRY url in examples are referred with thrift:// while the HiveCatalogService is validating the url assuming it is http://. Is there a gap ?
