Graduation - and a virtual celebration

Yes, the rumors are true. The Apache Board met today and approved the resolution for Calcite to become a top-level project. We have graduated!

It’s a great milestone for this community, and I think we should take a moment to celebrate. But since we’re in different locations, it will be difficult to get everyone together at the same time and place.

So, how do folks feel about having a virtual get-together to celebrate graduation? I was thinking of having a hangout at 10am Pacific on Tuesday (27th October). What do you all think? If the time is inconvenient for more than a few people we could consider moving to a different time.

The hangout would be at http://www.hydromatic.net/hangout <http://www.hydromatic.net/hangout> as usual.

Julian
