Hi Folks,

The Incubator is aware that some of our committers (PPMC) and Mentors (IPMC/PPMC) are not yet subscribed to our private@flagon.apache.org <ma...@flagon.apache.org> mailing list. It’s important that you do so. 

If you are receiving a direct email as a BCC to this message you are a committer and on the PPMC of the Apache Flagon project. If you have not also received this message from our private@flagon.apache.org <ma...@flagon.apache.org> list, then you have not subscribed to it. 

The best way to subscribe to the list is to use the Whimsy tool, which can be found here: https://whimsy.apache.org/committers/subscribe <https://whimsy.apache.org/committers/subscribe>. You will be required to log in with your apache credentials. If you have forgotten these credentials you can reset your password here: https://id.apache.org <https://id.apache.org/>. Your Username can be found here: http://incubator.apache.org/projects/flagon <http://incubator.apache.org/projects/flagon> (just in case :)). 

Another method that is less reliable is to email private-subscribe@flagon.incubator.apache.org <ma...@flagon.incubator.apache.org>.

This process will only take a few minutes, private@ won’t explode your inbox, and you won’t miss important comms and oversight notices that are important to the project.

Mentors—private is an important list where challenges that podlings face can be discussed discretely. It’s important that you subscribe to the private list.
