Security Exceptions with Velocity and EJB server

Hi

I'm having a bit of a problem with Velocity and accessing an existing
ejb tier on an Orion server I'm running.

If I run the web component from Sun's RI J2EE, I get security exceptions
all over the place. The first exception seems to be related to the
logging system. I've looked at directory permissions and they're OK (I'm
running Win2000, NTFS).

Any ideas as to how I can get around this?

I also get an error if I run the app as a web app in Tomcat. I keep
getting a "Resource Not Found Exception - security.properties". Again,
this is if I attempt to lookup an ejb on the Orion server.

Oddly enough, I can successfully lookup from a number of the servlets,
but not all of them (only in Tomcat, from the J2EE RI Server I'm stopped
as soon as logging is attempted).

I'm sorry if this is too general a question. If you need details in
order to help, please ask, and I'll supply them.
