Error in parsing valid date in Solr 1.3
Greetings,
I'm getting:
HTTP Status 400 - Invalid Date in Date Math String:'2008-08-03T00:00Z'
In Solr 1.3 , but the same string is accepted in Solr 1.2. The error
seems related to SOLR-470.
I'm using Solr 1.2 index files - if that matters.
The query string I'm using contains:
fq=sdt:[2008\-08\-03T00\:00Z+TO+2008\-08\-25T23\:59Z]
Solr 1.3 will work with a date string like "2008-08-03T00:00:000Z"
Regards,
Gabriel Tataranu

Sorry guys, I was missing the seconds part. Weird though.

Date range checking error
Posted by Gabriel Tataranu <tg...@mate1inc.com>.
Hi all,
another problem with Solr 1.3. A search that is supposed to find nothing
is returning a record. The search has the filter set to:
fq=sdt:[2008\-08\-03T00\:00:000Z+TO+2008\-08\-25T23\:59:999Z]
and finds a record that has that field set at:
2008-08-26 16:30:57
Again, the index file is propagated from Solr 1.2 indexer (for testing).
Solr 1.2 does not find this record, as expected.
Solr 1.3 will not find the record for a filter like:
fq=sdt:[2008\-08\-03T00\:00:000Z+TO+2008\-08\-25T23\:39:999Z]

Hi Gabriel,
The syntax that you are using is not a valid syntax. Solr 1.2 did not do
enough error checking.
Look at this recent thread on the solr-user mailing list and please direct
such questions to the solr-user mailing list:
