Working with DRMAA
I have existing systems that are built around executing command line jobs
using the DRMAA API. Traditionally we have used Grid Engine to fulfill this
need, but I'm trying to figure out how to get this to play nice with Mesos.
Or is it possible for Mesos to take over this role completely? Does anybody
have any experience with this?

Hey Kyle,
I'm not familiar with the DRMAA world, but executing command line jobs is
very easy in Mesos. All you would need to do is write a framework that can
launch jobs/tasks. Mesos provides a Command Executor which can run
arbitrary shell commands. For reference look at a toy framework that uses
command executor here:
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=mesos.git;a=blob;f=src/examples/no_executor_framework.cpp;h=acb23dc47d7dd526a7f5fd47d15edce0ea11c32e;hb=HEAD
