[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-364) Remove unsupported upstream scripts
Remove unsupported upstream scripts
-----------------------------------
Key: BIGTOP-364
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-364
Project: Bigtop
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Debian, RPM
Reporter: Bruno Mahé
Some upstream projects provide their own way to start/stop daemons which is more adapted to a tarball than a package.
Most of these scripts are superseded by init scripts we provide.
Furthermore, these scripts won't work due to many assumptions they make, so we should remove them to not confuse people
