Just checked it,.. e.g. Satisfy behaves as expected, meaning:
Setting the non-default:

<Directory /foo>
   Satisfy any
</Directory>

<Directory /foo/bar>
</Directory>

will also have "Satisfy any" effective in /foo/bar.
