Given a spreadsheet of 23 rows:
.on a column defined and containing dates the function returns the correct
result of 23;
.on a column defined numeric containing elevations with most cells containing a
4 digit number but one cell containing 8800-10000 the result is 22;
.on a column containing blanks and a text entry (like: yes or x) the result is
0.
