[all][poll] svn conversion
Alright folks, it looks like svn has stabilized.
Let's have a poll here: any more opinions on the svn conversion? Has
everyone had ample time to test?

My opinion is that we should call a vote asap, and anyone who is -1's
should use the test to prove their point. While we still have the test
up.
I'd suggest a 1 week vote. Any -1 with worthy reason is enough to stop
it, but we would be aiming to come up with solutions to any -1's (in a
different email thread).

Even (whatever the Eclipse equivalent is for) 'svn status', which
doesn't have to talk to the SVN server, while the CVS equivalent
does??

I just tried to test today with the apache test area
https://svn.apache.org/repos/test/jakarta/commons/current
I can checkout using the command line, but not with subclipse. Its late
here, so I'm not able to follow much up. Subclipse does want to know where
the repository root is though, I'm guesing https://svn.apache.org/repos/test
? (My problem is that I get no structure visible on the SVN repository
exploring view)
My general view remains that pushing apache onto SVN before tool support is
widespread and built in is a Bad Idea. However, clearly there are forces
beyond me driving this, so I won't attempt to -1 it .
