Open Source re: Code Licensing & Contribution Terms
To Whom This May Concern:
We are in the process of surveying a number of open source project regarding code licensing and contribution terms.
Can you identify for me the open source contribution agreement or policy under which one contributes code to your project?
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

All questions are welcome here on the the mailing list! There are no
obvious or bad questions, only those that are unanswered and details
that we've poorly communicated.
As a whole, the project itself could do a better job explaining our
relationship with Apache, and how licensing and governance works --
patches are welcome if someone wants to create a documentation page to
explain this further. Fortunately, Apache already has a number of
resources related to this that we may simply want to make more-visible.
So thanks for asking, and welcome to the project. :)
To Adam's question, if there's anything you could share here about EMC's
potential interest I'm sure folks in the community would be interested
to learn more.
Cheers,
Dave

Adam:
Thank you for the note and I apologize for the belated response.
At this point we are surveying the terms (licensing, governance, and otherwise) associated with a number of open source projects.
I do not have visibility into our use of Mesos, but I have reached out to some people internally to get a sense of our use and will circle back with you once I learn more.
Best regards,
-T.

In payment for asking such an obvious question, could we get a description of how you are (or are considering) using Apache Mesos at EMC? If you're already using Mesos in production, could we get permission to add you to the Powered By Mesos<https://mesos.apache.org/documentation/latest/powered-by-mesos/> list? :-)
Thanks,
