Empty pages are periodically shown

In my application, which is still under development, I periodically get
pages returned which are empty.

In particular my browser (Mozilla 5.0 - 0.9.3) displays the following:

<html><body></body></html>

The above line shows up on the browser.  But other times it seems to work
fine.

Does anyone have an idea what may be occuring.  I can't seem to track this
down.
