[jira] [Created] (FLUME-2179) Add Interceptor to create a new event
header based on the presence of a string wihtin another header
Gabriel Commeau created FLUME-2179:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Add Interceptor to create a new event header based on the presence of a string wihtin another header
Key: FLUME-2179
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-2179
Project: Flume
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Easy
Affects Versions: v1.4.0
Reporter: Gabriel Commeau
Assignee: Gabriel Commeau
This interceptor manipulates Flume event headers, by creating a new header based on the presence of a string (via a regular expression) within another header. If the header searched for is missing, it does nothing. Also, if the searched header does not contain the search expression, the default behavior is to not create the new header. This behavior can be overridden.
