svn code: no status line reported in log

I checked out nutch code from svn during last weekend. I'm testing web
crawling now. It feels much better than running 0.7x code.  One question: I
can't find fetcher's  status line in the std out or hadoop.log.  Any idea?
command:
bin/nutch fetch segment
