[jira] [Created] (CASSANALYTICS-152) Microseconds are truncated from timestamp values
Max Melentyev created CASSANALYTICS-152:
-------------------------------------------
Summary: Microseconds are truncated from timestamp values
Key: CASSANALYTICS-152
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANALYTICS-152
Project: Apache Cassandra Analytics
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Max Melentyev
Hey, we've noticed that timestamp values exported with cassandra-analytics have millisecond precision while values in cassandra have microsecond precision.
I've found this [table|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-analytics/blob/trunk/cassandra-analytics-cdc-codec/src/main/java/org/apache/cassandra/cdc/avro/AvroDataUtils.java#L87] saying that timestamp cassandra type is mapped to Date java type. This seems to cause the truncation, as Date has only millisecond precision.
