Tomcat Monitoring

Hello,

my task is to implement a monitoring for Apache + Tomcat installation on AIX.
I decided to use the mod_snmp Module for monitoring the Apachen which is working fine. Does anybody know, if there is any SNMP support in Tomcat or if there are any other options for monitoring.
