The `com.github.spotbugs` plugin wires `spotbugsMain` and `spotbugsTest` into `check` for all 10 modules, so the GitHub workflow's `./gradlew check` runs 20 SpotBugs tasks per JDK. With `ignoreFailures = true` they cannot fail a pull-request build; they only add CPU time and a 2g heap alongside the tests on the 2-core runner (in the last trunk run `:poi:spotbugsMain` ran concurrently with `:poi:test`).
This excludes them on the command line: `-x spotbugsMain -x spotbugsTest`. Verified with `--dry-run` that no `spotbugs*` task is scheduled and the rest of `check` (tests, forbidden-apis, `verifyModuleInfoPresentRef`, …) is unchanged.
The nightly Jenkins jobs are untouched: the `jenkins` task depends on `subprojects.check` and `jenkins/create_jobs.groovy` still collects `build/reports/spotbugs/*.xml`.
