I don't see the problem ; you could say : if ( name != tag ) \{ ln -s name tag ; }

-- All tags are unique because they are the hash-keys in [committee-info.json|https://whimsy.apache.org/public/committee-info.json] ;

-- All names are unique (as file names in [https://whimsy.apache.org/board/minutes/)]

-- All tags are lowercase-first (or you can make them so).

-- All names are uppercase-first (or you can make them so).

So, the set of tags and the set of names don't overlap.
