Attached a hopefully equivalent refreshed patch [KNOX-516_002.patch|https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12790755/KNOX-516_002.patch] if someone finds it useful.  Seems like I might be late to the party though.  The real issue here though is that there are no tests.
