This should be hosted separately from the Nutch code e.g. in GitHub by whoever feels responsible for it  as we probably don't want to end up with a proliferation of various flavours of indexers and this one is not likely to be widely used. Moreover it does not use the mechanism from NUTCH-1047 so I don't understand why it is marked as being blocked by it. Instead of going towards plugability and clearly separated code, this goes exactly in the opposite direction.
