Failover and Faulttolerance using the MasterSlave approach

Hi !

Working for a customer using ActiveMQ, soon we are going in to production.
I am responsible to come up with a smart solution, fullfilling the
requirment
of having reliable configuration. We are using Oracle as the
persistence/Message
store.

It's a Oracle cluster. What is the best way to accomplish failover on the
server. I considerad the MasterSlave approach using a shared database.Does
it
mean a shared databaseschema, i mean can the existing brokers write to the
same
message store or ? Is that possible or is there any better solution.
I appreciate a answer as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Daniel
