[jira] [Created] (COUCHDB-2336) Fauxton Navigation Self Closes Breaking Flow

Nick Colley created COUCHDB-2336:
------------------------------------

Summary: Fauxton Navigation Self Closes Breaking Flow
                 Key: COUCHDB-2336
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-2336
             Project: CouchDB
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Fauxton
            Reporter: Nick Colley

By default the navigation in Fauxton automatically closes after 3s when a user has used a nav button.

This can be frustrating because it feels like the rug has been thrown from underneath you, I'd propose only collapsing the navigation when the user presses the burger and when the screen doesn't allow for the bigger navigation.

If the intention is that the user will get used to the navigation enough to know what the icons represent maybe checking how long the user has been using the application and then set it to default to closed.

Hopefully I've created this issue right, first time using JIRA! :)
