> Per CAY-1314 the old file-based preferences were switched to Java preferences API. The new preferences store is much more user friendly, at least on Linux and OS X. It doesn't seem to have concurrency issues, can be viewed and edited using OS specific tools. So switching the rest of the preferences using HSQLDB is a logical next step.
