Open Office

My openoffice program will crash while I am entering information and will 
do a recovery, start up again and before long it crashes again, what do I need 
to do.

Maybe give us more information…
What version of Apache OpenOffice?
What operating system?
What version of your operating system?
What part of Apache OpenOffice are you using? Is it Writer, Calc or what?
Things like that.

Otherwise we can only guess.
