Re: RE : [M2]Cannot find jxr plugin

Same thing with the snapshot version on apache. The odd thing is that
when downloading the plugin it also download some maven core plugins
in version 2.0.2

Can somebody tell me which jxr goal is called when building the site.
In my case jxr:jxr works fine, so I guess the site goal calls another
jxr goal but I can't find which one. The jxr plugin page on the maven
site is unavailable

Thanx

Seb

RE : [M2]Cannot find jxr plugin

Posted by Olivier Lamy <ol...@accor.com>.
Hi,
The plugins has moved (snapshot version [1] )
from org/codehaus/mojo/jxr-maven-plugin/ to
org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-jxr-plugin

Just try with artifactId maven-jxr-plugin
And add http://cvs.apache.org/maven-snapshot-repository as a plugin
repository in your settings.xml

I saw there is a version Beta-2 for this plugin on codehaus but there is

a beta 1 in ibiblio. Which one is in your repository ? may be comes from

here...
(you can check the versions here:
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/packages/maven2/org/codehaus/mojo/jxr-maven-p
lugin/
http://snapshots.maven.codehaus.org/maven2/org/codehaus/mojo/jxr-maven-p

)

But a NoClassDefFoundException should not be raised for such problem
(well in my opinion)).

Did you start maven from the same folder as you did when you had
jxr-maven-plugin in your pom ?

Anything is possible.

Keep working and let us know if you figure it out, get it resolved, etc.

Sounds strange because if I remove the "jxr-maven-plugin" from my
reporting section in my pom.xml file, my site goal works fine.

Is it possible that there is some incompabilities between plugin versions ?
