It might be because the docker maven does not know where to fetch the 0.8.0-SNAPSHOT jars, normally the SNAPSHOT releases are pushed to other repositories. According to the parent [POM|https://github.com/apache/plc4x/blob/develop/pom.xml] the repo is: [https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/] therefore you have to add that URL in the ~/.m2/settings.xml file, see [this tutorial|https://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-multiple-repositories.html]
Give it a try and let us know if that fixed the issue.
