[Trinidad] tree in 1.2.13: duplicate ids

Hi,

Roughly half a year ago, Wolfgang Töpfer reported that in Trinidad
1.2.13, tr:tree rendering has duplicated HTML ids. He opened JIRA
issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRINIDAD-1778 for it.

The issue is simply shown by Trinidad examples, component demo
tree. (You don't need his demo project that he attached to the
bug.) The error message from opening the tree demo page is

WARNING: The id "j_id_jsp_1255804118_8" is used more than once.

That HTML ID is used for the surrounding div and for all spans that
wrap the top level tree nodes.

The issue also exists for 1.2.12, it was not introduced in 1.2.13.

Can anybody shed some light on that annoying warning?
