[HttpComponents] download page
Folks,
We have a shiny new download page for HttpComponents now. Check it out
http://jakarta.apache.org/site/downloads/downloads_httpcomponents.html
I think we are almost ready. I will hack up download pages for
HttpComponents project site and HttpCore site today and will throw
together a draft of the release announcement.

Download pages contain pointer to release notes and license, which is good.

Http-core project info contains licence details:
http://jakarta.apache.org/httpcomponents/http-core/project-info.html
but the equivalent home page does not:
http://jakarta.apache.org/httpcomponents/project-info.html
Also, the home page does not contain a link to a dependencies page.

Folks,
I have added a license link to both the project and HttpCore download
pages. Please review.
As to the problem with the left-hand side menu not being rendered
correctly in IE, it actually affects a few other project sites as well,
so at the very least we are in a good company. The easiest solution to
the problem would be to remove the reference to the jakarta-maven.css,
unless some one with a good knowledge of cascading style sheets steps in
and comes up a proper fix.

The license is only under "Project Info" for http-core, not for
the components. Sebastian already mentioned that the menu item
is called "Project License" instead of "License", and at least in
my browser the "Project Info" navigation section is collapsed by
default. That is a little too much effort for somebody who does
not know where to look for the license.
I know that I have come across useful tools or libraries before
and found it quite annoying that I had to search for the license.
Please add a link to the license page somewhere on the download
pages. Since we probably can't help it that each component gets
it's own license page from Maven, I would suggest to add the link
to the respective page right after the link to the release notes.

I could not find a License link - useful to have it by or on the

Also, when following links, on my browser (MSIE 6.0) the left-hand
panel does not seem to display anything unless I run the mouse over
it. Very odd - I've never seen that before in IE.
Works fine in FF 1.5.0.1
