difference btw doctype and ressource type

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out the difference between doctype and ressource
type in Lenya 1.4. My guess is that they are the same [1]. And custom
resource types would be the ones which are provided by modules (FKA
publets)?
Anybody can confirm that.

Thanks,
Renaud

Yes. The term "resource type" was introduced to emphasize that it
denotes a general concept (for instance, it should apply to images,
sounds, videos etc. as well).

Yes, whereas the term "custom" is a little inappropriate in a
framework. I'll change it.
