[logging] mavenize web site
i've like to mavenize the web site for logging. this will not mean any
changes to the actual build for logging, just to the website generation
process.
unless anyone else speaks up, i'll probably go ahead with the changes
required sometime soonish.

If you do this you can close the bugs 25941 (apply my patch first) and
21181 (if you can find a logo).
