Installing Slide Demo

Hello Friends
                   I am new to slide and want to give it a serious shot. I have Tomcat 4 running on windows advanced server i want to install slide ( the demo that is availabe) and have a look at it first. I put all the .war files from the slide directory into the tomcat webapp directory and it got extracted. now what i see somethin when i type the url : http://localhost:8080.slide but not the demo what are the steps to be followed to install and run the demo i also went through the domain.xml but couldnt make much out of it.The paths that are there in the file are they real and do they need to exist in the machine? also are ther ready made free implementatins of Slide ?
