When will MyFaces 2.2.x be bundled with TomEE 1.6.x ?

MyFaces 2.2.0 was just released (days ago), and I think it is stable and/or
reliable.

So, my question is, when will MyFaces 2.2.x be bundled with TomEE 1.6.x ?

What is TomEE (and/or OpenWebBeans) expecting from MyFaces 2.2.x, so that
MyFaces 2.2.x can/will be bundled with TomEE?

1. Glassfish 4.0 (first release) was delivered with first release/version
of Mojarra 2.2.

2. TomEE always uses latest Tomcat 'release' (that is announced on tomcat
user list)

3. Since TomEE(+) is advertised as 'not' being Java EE 6 certified, there
is no need for JSF 2.1 'dependency' (MyFaces 2.1.x, latest version). Might
as well replace JSF 2.1 dependency with JSF 2.2 dependency (MyFaces 2.2.x)

4. Based on my experience as TomEE 'user', I assume, TomEE will become
Tomcat8... sooner or later, so I think it's only natural/normal to replace
JSF 2.1 dependency with JSF 2.2 dependency. :)

5. Is TomEE postponing the JSF 2.2 dependency until TomEE is able to add
any/all components to meet Java EE 7 requirements and pass Java EE 7 TCKs ?

someone noticed that 2.2.0 seems to have some problem with multipart request

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21948228/how-to-get-jsf-file-upload-to-work-on-tomee-1-6

I could reproduce the error here, using p:fileUpload

does anyone know about any issue about that?

it was working with tomee 1.6.0 stable (myfaces 2.1.13) and silently stop
working using myfaces 2.2.0
