List subscribe time?

Hello -

I have a colleague who is trying to subscribe to this list, and send an email to user-subscribe@velocity.apache.org<ma...@velocity.apache.org> .

Just curious how long it usually takes for that to work, or if it's moderated...it's been a few hours, and we're wondering if there is a problem, or if it's just in an approval queue somewhere.

I've been subscribed for so long, I've forgotten! :)

Thanks!

 Tim

The robot sends an email asking for confirmation; you are only
subscribed if you respond to this message.

If I remember well, subscription was immediate (by a robot), but the
list itself is moderated. It would be useful to mention this on the
website, I was also wondering whether something was wrong when I last
posted a question (but it appeared after 36 hours).
