   @arkuhn Sorry for jumping in here, I just want to confirm, following up on @Jens-G comment that was never answered (that I can see) https://github.com/apache/thrift/pull/2929#pullrequestreview-2037497283
   
   This just adds the UUID types but not actual UUID support? (No reading or writing yet)
