[PATCH] (resend) use /usr/bin/env to avoid hardcoded paths in shebang lines

See subject, and the attached patch.

BTW, what's the python2 thingy in mailer.py and mailer-tweak.py?
I assume that's how some Linux distro installs python 2.x interpreters,
right?  What is your preferred way of handling this in an OS neutral
way?
