The Xerces Bridge classes provides support for the original (deprecated) Xerces 
DOM API.  The Xerces Wrapper classes support the current Xerces DOM.  To 
emphasize that the Xerces Bridge should no longer be used, related methods and 
classes should be marked deprecated.
