Which version?
Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've used Cayenne and tinkering with a new project.
Should I be using 3.2M1 (June 2013) or 3.1RC1 (Feb 2014) for a new project?

Fixed per CAY-1881. 3.2 fix is still not released, but the Modeler can be assembled from sources.

Okay, cool. I think that's what I used before. I come from the land of
WebObjects/EOF/WOnder and I think 3.2 had some goodness that makes me feel
more at home. :P
It looks like 3.2's version of Modeler for OSX isn't running with Java 7
because I get a major.minor error when trying to use jtds. I'm running the
plain java version with no issues (other than it looks like a java app :D).

Let’s start a vote on dev then :)

I'd like to see 3.1 made final soon. We aren't allowed to use Beta or
Release Candidate versions for our production deployments.

Yeah, 3.2 has definitely moved ahead of 3.1 a lot. Tons of new great stuff. And we should make 3.2M2 rather soon - it has even more of it.
Having said that, 3.1 is super stable. The next release of 3.1 will hopefully be a “final”. For some it may be a benefit. If you go this way, use RC1 of course, which is the latest on the 3.1 branch.
