Just to clear up the confusion.

NO, I haven't implemented what Jacob got into JSF 1.2. so far.

NO, we can't implement it without breaking the TCK, as the TCK checks for all public and protected methods and their signatures in a very exhaustive test, and won't allow an added one which shouldn't be there.

So if we want to implement this, the TCK will need to be changed.
