|  Turns out this wasn't really entirely accurate.
https://github.com/apache/impala/blob/4.1.0/shell/packaging/make_python_package.sh#L52
copies the local thrift version into impala_shell's space, so imports from
impala_shell use that version. Imports from other packages (like thrift_sasl)
use the required thrift version. So we end up loading 2 different versions of
thrift.
