[jira] Created: (UIMA-2048) UIMA AS should identify a delegate
service in a Timeout Exception
UIMA AS should identify a delegate service in a Timeout Exception
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Key: UIMA-2048
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2048
Project: UIMA
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Async Scaleout
Reporter: Jerry Cwiklik
Assignee: Jerry Cwiklik
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.3.1AS
When UIMA AS Client/Aggregate times out waiting for a reply from a delegate service, a Timeout Exception is logged. The exception itself does not identify which delegate service timed out. Further in the log the UIMA AS does identify the timed out delegate but there is no reason why this information should not be in the Timeout Exception. It would identify the offending delegate without a need to research the log. Apply the changes to both the UIMA AS client as well as the UIMA AS aggregate.
