[jira] [Updated] (NIFI-1894) Wierd behavior when searching for
component Data Provenance
Nahum Litvin updated NIFI-1894:
-------------------------------
Description:
scenario:
I got a a very active processor. it has thousands of messages.
when I "right click" -> "Data Provenance" on the processor.
I expect to see the latest Data Provenance events.
but Instead it shows me the oldest events (I end up thinking I had no new events for the last day and spend 15 minutes confused until noticing)
that it writes on the top:
`Showing 1,000 of 30,832 events that match the specified query, please refine the search.`
I think that the search box should allow to order by newest/oldest events
and by default "right click" -> "Data Provenance" shouldn't search for component id->get limited to 1000 show only 1000 oldest events. but show 1000 newest.
I'l gladly implement the change myself if I can be pointed to the right place.
