[D] Thematic Map Plugin - make part of standard set of plugins [superset]
GitHub user JTvdWal-WUR created a discussion: Thematic Map Plugin - make part of standard set of plugins
I have become aware (%) of an on-going development at Terrestris of a Thematic Map Plugin, strongly related to the CartoDiagram Plugin from the same developer (@jansule). For our use case I feel that this plugin would enable a much improved workflow in visualising our datasets on maps.
The proposal is to have the Thematic Map Plugin added to the standard set of plugins included in the standardized Docker-images from the official SuperSet-repository.
(%) This awareness stems from a presentation given during FOSS4GNL 2025 in Wageningen. Link to that specific presentation: https://talks.osgeo.org/foss4gnl-2025/talk/QDWTVD/

Additional information: The Thematic-plugin seems to be more-or-less part of the CartoDiagram-plugin. The adapted (?) code can be found here: [https://github.com/terrestris/superset/tree/5.0.0-custom/superset-frontend/plugins/plugin-chart-cartodiagram/src/thematic](url)
