[jira] [Created] (FLEX-33148) Fix accessibility issues as suggested
by Carol (and Adobe's accessibility expert)
OmPrakash Muppirala created FLEX-33148:
------------------------------------------
Summary: Fix accessibility issues as suggested by Carol (and Adobe's accessibility expert)
Key: FLEX-33148
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLEX-33148
Project: Apache Flex
Issue Type: Sub-task
Reporter: OmPrakash Muppirala
Assignee: Bertrand Delacretaz
I quickly showed the app to one of our accessibility engineers today. Here are his comments:
If you enter a directory that isn't empty you get a red highlight but no text to tell you what's wrong.
The transition to the license screen is too jumpy. Should be smoother.
red/green boxes should be check boxes - many people have red/green color blindness
required components - a radio button with one choice is odd - should be a checkbox
option components - should also be a checkbox but if you leave as radio buttons, don't install should be the initial value
log window - the close button is over the resize window icon
Would be nice if the text was easier to read. It is rather dense.
He is guessing there would be issues if someone tried to hookup a screen reader.
