Yeah I need to figure out how to get CMake to generate an iOS-compatible Makefile. I’m actually still maintaining a separate, manually updated Xcode project file for my own iOS app, and I’d like to move towards relying on CMake for that as I have to update it every time a file gets added or moved.

I’m sure there’s a way to tell it which targets you want, but this is something I need to look into when I get a chance. If anyone else on the list knows how to do it (or wants to look into it), feel free to do so.

Despite what I’ve said above what I’m doing with my own project file, I think it’s inconvenient, and it’s best if we can rely on CMake for always generating everything.

To be honest, a lot - it’s a fairly substantial piece of work.

I’m happy to start helping straight away, but with the caveat that my available time to do so is limited but will try to assist as I can. As a first step I’d recommend reading up in the OOXML spec about how mathematical equations are represented, and the same for MathML, and then posting some notes to the mailing list or wiki about the relationship between the different types of elements in each. From there we can talk about implementation strategy.

Hi Peter,

hmm so sorry I found the bug. I changed the project to a Xcode project (its better to include in iOS Projects), now its works.

Wenn you are interested I can send you the Xcode file, the positive point is all files are relative linked (Cmake make absolute). Also make the xcode project a static lib.

What you think how much time is needed for implement math? I’m thinking to Help.

Hi Harry, could you provide an example file I can test with to reproduce the crash?

Many of our test cases use <caption> elements, but you’ve evidently run across a use case that aren’t covered. If you can supply a test file then it should be pretty easy for me to diagnose what’s causing the problem.

Dear Team,

I can follow Stas points. SVG and Math don’t work (also when I put it in a clean HTML Document)
When I have Caption in the HTML File Corinthia direct crash. I tested it with DFCreateFile(docFile,htmlFile,error);

 2. Please provide more information on the steps that you followed to reveal the possible bugs. (Please note that the DocFormat operations are not comprehensive. Your bug reports are useful just the same.)

JIRA issues for Corinthia can be created at

This will allow attachments and addition of comments and discussion.

 3. I saw all of your attachments. In each case, the HTML file is fragmentary and not a complete HTML file. (There are no <html>, <head> and <body> elements.) I also saw a namespace declaration, which means XHTML, not plain HTML.)

While browsers are forgiving, these might be problems for some of the Corinthia code. How was the HTML produced?

Hi Костин,

MathML and SVG are both unsupported features at present - there has been no work done so far on implementing these. However, both of these are certainly things that would be good to eventually have support for in Corinthia.

We only have a very small number of people working on the project so far (and all very much part time). If you’re interested in getting involved and helping with this effort, I’d be happy to help provide you with any guidance/questions you need answered.
