form login losing query string

I'm using the latest from CVS with form based login and noticed that the
query string doesn't survive the login process.

If I hit: http://localhost/servlets/SnoopServlet?param1=foo&param2=foobar
after login I just get http://localhost/servlets/SnoopServlet

I just started trying FORM login, should this happen?
