Trying to get binding-rest-runtime to compile in my eclipse workspace

I'm on Eclipse 3.5.1 and neither wink nor binding-rest-runtime compile
in myworkspace. The thing that I notice is that while they have a
maven dependency on wink-server and Eclipse recognizes that there is
an OSGi dependency and the dependency looks correct, as do these
module manifests, wink-server is not included as a dependency (plugin
or otherwise) of either of these projects. Hence Eclipse reports
compilation errors as it can't access the classes in wink-server. Is
there anything odd about the OSGi-ness of these two modules? Anything
else I need to be doing?

I can see wink-server-1.1.1-incubating.jar in the lib dir of the generated war.

There's something I'm not seeing here.
