> Currently we are using compiler generated {{toString}} method for case classes to serialize {{DataType}} objects, which is dangerous and already introduced some bugs (e.g. SPARK-3421). Moreover, we also serialize schema in this format and write into generated Parquet metadata. Using JSON can fix all these known and potential issues.
