[SANDBOX][DISCUSS] BeanUtils2 experiment - lazy consensus

Hi all guys,
I am here to discuss a possible area to explore for a potential
BeanUtils2 component: I recently came across an article[1] that shows
a fluent API set for Java reflection, with a basic implementation on
gcode[2]; moreover, Alex Ruiz created FEST[3] that is a complete set
of fluent Java APIs for reflection - all that are inspiring me a new
potential version of BeanUtils I would like to experiment on Sandbox.
If there are no objections, after 72h I sent this email I would like
to start working on it.
Many thanks in advance, all the best,
-Simo

Hi Simo,

as far as I can see, there is no BeanUtils2 component at JIRA Commons
Sandbox yet. Will you set that up? Or do you have different plans on how
to organize development?

For the moment I'll try to set up old school svn to get the source code ;-)

Hi Benedikt,

GitHub mirroring is out of my karma and don't know the ASF procedure -
not sure sandbox components are mirrored anyway, I need to
investigate.

Thanks for your interest, patches are welcome anyway on Jira.

Hi Simone,

I'm really excited to see where this experiment is going. Is there any
possibility, that you mirror that repository to github, like some of the
other components do? It makes browsing the code and implementing
additions a lot easier.
