   Well we are telling Gradle to use `--console plain` as some if the cursor moving escape characters are messing up the output window.
   
   There was an ANSI color capable escape processor, which got removed at: https://github.com/apache/netbeans/commit/7749e341e03a6a07323c4164b9c562d8eb7dfdbf
