Tika 1.1 release

Hi all,

First, thanks for all the hard work you've put into this project. My company uses the Tika software and it has been a big help to us.

There is a bug we're running into that is resolved in the 1.1 release, but we want to avoid using a build of the unreleased source if we can. Is there a timeline for the release of 1.1 or can you give some general estimates?

Thanks!

Guys, +1 here.

I'll create a 1.1 RC this weekend if no one beats me to it.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Chris

Great to hear that!

There's no clear plan for 1.1 yet, but I think the trunk is in a
pretty good state so we could well cut a release pretty soon.

In fact given the time that has passed since 1.0, I think it would be
a good idea to push for a 1.1 release already this month.
